Maintenance and support contracts are available for when you are using DataTables and Editor as part of a critical or large scale project and you want to be assured that you can get help quickly when you need it and on-going maintenance ensures that the software is always kept up to date with the latest developments.

If you have a question regarding how to perform a particular action with DataTables and Editor, or have hit an issue that you would like professional help with, support credits can be purchased in small units to provide that help.
Free support is available for DataTables through the DataTables forums. Answers are provided freely by the community whenever possible. The forums are a busy place and it is not always possible to ensure that every question will receive an answer from the community. To increase the likelihood of receiving a reply, when posting a question please ensure that you provide a link to a test case showing the problem so it can be debugged.
Training can be provided for DataTables, Editor and the other extensions, from first principles introducing the software and its abilities, right through to creating custom plug-ins and optimisation suggestions that can be made to enhance performance. Training is available one-to-one or as group.
Training can be provided remotely using Skype, TeamViewer or similar, or on-site (travel from Scotland, UK, to the location would be reflected in the price!).

Q. What types of payment do you accept?
A. All major debit and credit cards are accepted (through Stripe or PayPal) as well as payments through PayPal. We can also accept payments by bank transfer, cheque or Purchase Order. For information on these options, please get in touch.
Q. What currency is the payment made in?
A. Payments can be made in USD ($), Euros (€) or GBP (£). Select the currency you wish to use from the options at the top of the page. The transaction will be completed in the selected currency and the paid invoice will reflect that.
Q. What happens at the end of my support period?
A. The support credits available for your account will expire. You can renew your support contract to refresh the credits available. You will still be able to use DataTables as you were before! You will also still be able to access your DataTables account and any support requests you have made in the forum.
Q. Will new features be added upon request?
A. New features are added to DataTables and the extensions at the author's discretion only. The support and maintenance contracts available here cover the existing DataTables software. If you require a new feature to be developed as an extension for DataTables please get in touch.
Q. What is a support credit?
A. Support credits are used when requesting support. The credit rates charged for each support access option are:
- Forum / e-mail support: 1 credit per minute
- Skype / telephone support: 2 credits per minute, with 15 credit minimum
Free community support is available in the forums 24/7 and credits are not charged unless support is provided by SpryMedia.
Q. How quickly will I get a reply?
A. Within 2 working days - although it is normally a lot quicker!
Q. What software is covered?
A. DataTables, Editor and all of the extensions published on this site are included in the software covered in these support packages. Additionally for Editor the server-side libraries included in the package are also covered. Third-party plug-ins and extensions are not supported.
